Leagues

NY Squash has run squash leagues continuously since the organization's inception in 1928 as the Metropolitan Squash Racquets Association. Typically with more than 800 players across singles and doubles each season, the NY Squash leagues have grown to become among the largest in the world.

How the Leagues Work

League teams are formed among players from squash clubs throughout the metropolitan area, from Brooklyn to Westchester, and there are divisions for skill levels from competitive beginners to professional. Contact your club pro or club's team captain to join a league team (NY Squash allows players to join a team at any point in the season). You must be a current US Squash member to compete in league (join here).

See the Singles League and Doubles League overview pages for further details on participating. The season traditionally runs from early November through April.

Leagues Committee

NY Squash leagues are governed by a League Committee made up of volunteers who give their time to organize and govern the 800-plus league players in the greater NYC metropolitan area, with the goal of quality competition and unflagging sportsmanship.
